PRESTON EUGENE HARTMAN, 66, of 626 Maryland Ave., died at Western Maryland Center on Monday.
Born at Mercersburg, Pa., he was a son of Joseph W. and Mary E. Clark Hartman. He was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church of Hagerstown; Washington County Ostomy Association of Hagerstown; and Musicians Union Local. He was a retired employe of Fairchild Industries with 32 years of service.
He is survived by daughters, Mrs. Patricia M. Sheaffer of Mechanicsburg and Mrs. Sandra McGory of Hagerstown; sons, Donald E. Hartman of Mechanicsburg, Joseph T. Hartman of Harrisburg, Pa., and Ronald C. Hartman of Davie, Fla.; a brother, J. Franklin Hartman of Hagerstown; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be held at the Bast Funeral Home in Boonsboro on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. The Rev. Harry T. Baxter will officiate; burial in Funkstown Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 7 to 9.
The family requests the omission of flowers, and memorial donations may be made to Washington County Cancer Society or Ostomy Assn.
