Emma was born in Camden, N.J. and had been a longtime resident of Mount Holly. She enjoyed cooking, being a housewife and being a mom.
Emma was the kindest-hearted person you would have ever met. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard; her siblings; and her three children, Barbara, George, and Willard Jr.
Emma is survived by ten children, Bill and Marsha Allen, Steve and Donna Allen, Jack and Jen Allen, Tom and Donna Allen, Robert and Bobby Allen, Vincent Allen, Diane and Richard Ditmar, Susan Allen and Lee Trueheart, Linda and Mark Wells and Donna Skeenes; many grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and a host of great-great-grandchildren; her adopted son, Robert Rossell; and her dog, Nicky.
Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 8 at the Lee Funeral Home, 317 High St., Mount Holly. Relatives and friends may visit with the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Woodlane Cemetery, Woodlane Road, Westampton.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Emma to the American Diabetes Foundation, 1060 Kings Highway North, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
