SAMUEL CURTIS BLACKMAN, son of Hon. Alfred Blackman,
(Y. C 1828,) died in New Haven, Aug. 20, 1864, aged 3J.
He was born in Humphrey sville, (now Seymour,) Conn.,
April 7, 1833.
He studied law in New Haven, and was admitted to the
bar in this place, Sept 2, 1856. He was for a time clerk in
the U. S. District and Circuit Courts, and was also clerk of
the city of New Haven.
