On Thursday, January 22, 1953, Mrs. Anna Barbara (Maser) Miller-Arndt died at her residence on 424 C. Street, Fresno. She had been ill for a long while.
She was a native of Russia, aged 73 years, and had lived in the Fresno area for the last 10 years. Mrs. Arndt was twice married, first to Wilhelm "William" Miller in Lincoln, Nebraska on September 17, 1899. After his death in 1935, she then married Conrad Arndt in Lincoln, Nebraska on January 22, 1936. After moving and living in Fresno, California for five years, Conrad and Anna Barbara divorced on January 22, 1948. She never remarried.
Anna Barbara is survived by a daughter, Katherine Marie (Miller)Floth of Fresno; four sons, Phillip and Andrew Miller of Los Angeles, David Miller of Nebraska, and Peter Miller of Fresno; a stepdaughter, Marie Weisgerber of Nebraska; three sisters, Katherine Weigandt and Alice Reider of Michigan, Emma Krumm of Colorado; a brother, John Maser of Nebraska; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
The last rites for Mrs. Anna Barbara (Maser) Miller-Arndt will be conducted Tuesday, January 26, 1953 and burial will be in the Belmont Memorial Park.
