ROBERT BURNS
Robert B. Burns, 66, of Clare, died Saturday morning, December 16, in the Clare Nursing Home.
He was born Dec. 11, 1912 in Kinde, Michigan the son of Robert and Sarah (McEackin) Burns.
He married Alyce M. Ensley August 14, 1937 in Clare. She preceeded him in death July 6, 1977. Mr. Burns was a retired Detroit policeman coming to Clare 9 years ago from Detroit.
He is survived by two brothers, William of Calif. and Francis of Detroit; a sister Mrs. Catherine Rees of Calif.
Funeral services were Monday in St. Cecilia Church, Clare. Burial was in Cherry Grove Cemetery. Arrangements by Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home.
