Funeral services for Deborah Kay Aills, 46, were held Thursday, Feb. 1, 2007, in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Melvin Hollifield officiating. Burial followed in Bennett Cemetery in Apple Springs.

Mrs. Aills died Monday, Jan. 29, in Cleveland.

She was born Sept. 26, 1960 in Houston, the daughter of George and Bonnie Dement Golden. She was a member and secretary of the Bear Creek VFD and San Jacinto Search and Rescue for three years. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Georgia Fields.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Katherine and Chad Owens of Splendora; granddaughters, Tara Roden of Splendora, Kaitlyn Hale of Splendora and Melody Owens of Splendora; dad of her daughter, Ronnie Masters of Cleveland; sister, Vanessa Gallagher of Cleveland; five nephews and their wives and boyfriend, James W. Smith of Cleveland.

Pallbearers were James Long Jr., Webster Fields Jr., George Fields, Chad Owens, Dwayne Walters and Jesse Ellis.
