Thelma was the daughter of Joseph Dombrower and Mary Jane Overbay Dombrower,

She married Charles William Churchill, Jr. as his second wife.

HOUSTON - Thelma Churchill, 90, passed away April 16,1999, at her daughter's home in Saline, Michigan.

Thelma was born August 28, 1908, in Beaumont, Texas. She grew up at St. Mary's Orphanage in Galveston. She married Charles William Churchill, July 29,1944, in Galveston.

She is preceded in death by her husband, two sisters, Vera (Earl) Comeaux and Josephine (Edmund) Fort, and one brother, Robert Dombrower.

She is survived by two daughters, Sarah (Jon) Gilbert of Saline, Michigan and Miss Kitty Churchill of Houston; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jon Gilbert Jr., Charles Gilbert, Ken Kasper, Aaron Fort, Evan Fort, and Larry Bauske.

Donations may be made to Volunteer Services of Richmond
State School, 3100 Preston, Richmond, Texas 77478.

A rosary and visitation will be held 7 to 9 p.m., April 20th. Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m., April 21, 1999, at Forest Park East, Webster, Texas (281) 332-3111.
