Scott Douglas Griffin was born on September 15, 1968 in Pipestone, Minnesota. He lived in Ruthton, Minnesota until he was four years old. He then moved to Pipestone, Minnesota. He also lived with his parents in the Edgerton, Minnesota area before moving back to Pipestone. He graduated from Pipestone Senior High School in 1987. He was presently employed at Juba's Super Valu in Pipestone. Scott died at his home in Pipestone on Tuesday evening, January 10, 1989, at the age of 20 years, 3 months, and 26 days.
He is lovingly remembered by his parents, Doug and Leatha Griffin of Pipestone, Minnesota; two sisters, Candya and Tara Griffin of Pipestone, Minnesota; his maternal grandmother, Florence TenCate of Ruthton, Minnesota; his paternal grandparents, Ron and Charlotte Griffin of Edgerton, Minnesota, and his niece, Jacqueline Griffin of Pipestone, Minnesota.
