Funeral services for Herbert E. Powell, 88, who died early Tuesday morning, were held Friday afternoon at 2:30 at the First Baptist church with the Rev. W. W. Pixley officiating. Miss Ethel Crispin was organist.
Interment was in Highland Park cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ormison Hilborn, Ben Carter, Lee Wiseman, Ernest Wheeler, Guy Edington and Harold Signs.
Attending the services from away were George McIntyre, Michigan director of Agriculture; Maynard Brownlee, director of distribution of the Michigan Farm Bureau; Keith A.
