Mr. Harbuck was born June 22, 1925 in Cusseta, GA to the late Cato W. and Lilly Hodge Harbuck. He was retired from Bill Heard Chevrolet after 45 years as an automatic transmission technician. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Ann Fields, two sisters, Mary Sloan and Flo Davis, and two brothers, Eason and Cecil Harbuck.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Inez Tyler Harbuck of Columbus, GA; two grandsons, David Barth Hopper (Beth) of Claremont, NC and Jason Hopper of Phenix City, AL; one great granddaughter, Paige Resor (Brandon) of Winston Salem, NC; one great grandson, Trey Hopper of Claremont, NC; one niece, Carol McMurray of Biloxi, MS; one nephew, Ron Sloan of Palm Springs, CA, sister-in-law, Marie Barron of Columbus, GA, and lots of friends and neighbors.
