Crescenzo, Lawrence C, age 93, passed away Friday, January 6, 2012 at his home in Manhattan, IL with his family at his side.

Beloved husband of Antonette C. (nee Rome); loving father of: Charles (Barbara) and Charlene (William) Batson; cherished grandfather of: Christine (Mark) Uram, Sandi (Lou) Sidella, and Chuck III (Lisa) Crescenzo, Lawrence (Mary) Crescenzo; dear great-grandfather of: Charley, Sophie, Eathan, and Morgan Crescenzo; dear brother of: Nick and Chuck Crescenzo, Minnie Modesto, Florence Kochems, Mary LePore, and Helen DelPriore.

The family would like to extend a special thank-you to Lawrence's caregivers: Iris Pinnick, Linda April, and Joron Griegg.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Charles and Angelina Crescenzo.

Lawrence was a member of Teamsters Local 710 and member of the Mokena VFW. He was a World War II US Army Veteran, serving in France and Germany under General Patton.

Family will receive friends at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd. New Lenox, IL 60451, on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 from 3-8PM. Funeral Service Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Manhattan Cemetery, Manhattan, IL.
