Obituary from the Green Bay newspaper dated June 1964:

Mrs. Floyd Kelley, 45, 421 East Mason Street, died Sunday afternoon in a local hospital after a long illness. She was born December 20, 1918, in York, Clark County, Wisconsin. The former Frances Iva Root married Mr. Kelley September 6, 1939, in Rhinelander. The couple has lived in Green Bay for the past seven years after moving from Rhinelander. Mrs. Kelley's father, Elwin Root, died in 1955 and one brother, Robert, also preceded her in death.

Survivors are her husband; three daughters, Barbara, Mary and Linda, all at home; her mother, Mrs. Ida Root, Merrill; two sisters, Mrs. Gerald (Zola) Lynch, Appleton; Mrs. Leonard (Jean) Allorie, Merrill.

At Schauer and Schumacher Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Reverend E. H. Krueger officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
