Nedra Lucile Anderson Mazuran passed away in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Sunday, Jan. 1, 2012, of causes incident to age. She was born July 21, 1915, in Logan, Utah, to Joseph Andrew Anderson and Honora Melicent Willmore Anderson.
She graduated from Logan High School and Utah State University.
She married Paul Michael Mazuran. They later divorced. They had one child, Michael Joseph Mazuran.
Nedra was an extremely talented, dedicated teacher at the Logan junior high school where she taught hundreds of students to sew over a 35 year career. Nedra was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served in many callings.
Throughout her life she expended her time, effort and talents in serving her family, students, neighbors, friends, fellow church members, her community and those in need.
She is survived by her son, Michael (Cody Marie); six grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving parents; her sister, Ruth Mae Watkins; her brother-in-law, William E. Watkins; and her brother, Joseph A. Anderson Jr.
At her request, no viewing services were held. Her immediate family met graveside at the Logan City Cemetery for the grave dedication.
