Nora May Casmey, 90 Bemidji, formerly of Mentor, Minn., died Sunday, Nov. 28, 1993 in North Country Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Bemidji, where she lived since 1979.
Nora May Forsythe was born Sept. 29, 1903, the daughter of John and Lydia Forsythe, in Dugdale, rural Mentor, Minn., where she grew up and attended school. She attended Bemidji State Teachers College. She taught in rural schools for nine years near Fertile, Minn., and Euclid, Minn. She married Frank Casmey in 1934. They lived in a farmhome near Mentor, taking care of her parents. Her husband died, and she moved to Mentor.

She is survived by her sisters, Myrtle (Mrs. Wallace) Abbott, Bemidji, and Pearl Leas, Grants Pass, Ore.; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by seven brothers, and three sisters.

Services: 2 p.m. Monday Dec. 6 in Bethel Bible Church, Mentor.

Visitation: One hour before services in the church. Arrangements are with the Cease Funeral Home, Bemidji.
Burial: Rosehill Cemetery, rural mentor.
