Myron "Glenn" Fessenden, 69, Ozark, passed away at 12:35 a.m. Tuesday in. his home following a long illness. Glenn was born May 25, 1926 in Glendive, Montana the son of Charles Ray and Rena Belle Hall Fessenden. He was married to Marie Reuher May 5, 1946. To this union five children were born, and in 1955, Glenn and Marie moved their family to Ozark. Glenn was employed by Sears Roebuck for 21 years, retiring in 1976 as a service manager. In 1977, he opened Fessenden TV & Appliance Store, which grew into a nationwide company known as Fessenden Technologies. Glenn was a member of Galloway Baptist Church where he was a Sunday School teacher. He is preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Ray Lee. Survivors include his wife, Marie, of the home; one son, Royce and his wife, Pat, Ozark; four daughters and their husbands, Glenda Canfield, Lincoln, Neb., Claudia and Paul Snyder, Ozark, Nadine and Jimmy George, Muldrow, Ok., Marlys Welch, Jacksonville, Fl.; his mother-in-law, Susie Whaples, Ozark; two nieces, Marleen Reuher, Alabama, and. Donna Scroggins, Washington; and seventeen grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Funeral services were at 2:30, p.m. Thursday, July 27, in Harris, a Cassity Heritage Funeral Home, Ozark, with the, Rev. Ken McIntosh and Mike Howell officiating. Burial followed in the Selmore Cemetery
