Gravesite is across the road from the old homesite of Jeff Smith located as a single grave to itself at the intersection of Choccolocco Rd and Bain Gap Road in Pleasant Ridge, AL just off of HWY 9 about 3 miles down Choccolocco Rd from White Plains, AL. Rumor has it that when the Smith child died people around the community wouldn't let the parents bury the child in the local cemetery so the child's dad buried the child at the intersection of the road so that everyone would have to see the grave everyday as they passed by.
