Victor H. Bird, who died at his home Thursday last, was born at Mt Pleasant, Iowa, Nov. 14, 1871, being 50 years and 17 days of age. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Havensville, Kans. He was married to Louretta Graves, Nov. 1, 1897, at West Moreland, Kans. To this union five children were born. Harry Bird of Langley, Kans., Mrs. Charles C. Hansen of Basin, Wyo., Phillip, Fanny and Elery, who are still at home. Besides his wife and children, he is survived by two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, conducted by the Masonic Lodge, sermon by Dr. J.T. Hanna.
Actually his children with his first wife, Nancy Cordelia Carson were: Vera Cordelia (deceased), Harry Victor, and Zola Nancy (both surviving him) and then he married Louretta and had Phillip Morier and Fannie Marie Bird (both surviving him).
