James A. Armstrong died yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home of his son, Dr. T.S. Armstrong, 912 South Evans ave., of a complication of ailments.
Mr. Armstrong was born in South Wales April 7, 1836. He located in this country after the civil war in 1865, settling at Scranton, where he lived for 15 years, then going to Edwardsdale, near Wilkes-Barre, and coming to McKeesport about two years ago.
Mr. Armstrong was a member of the Fifth Ave Baptist Church.

John Armstrong - John Armstrong, a former well known resident of Edwardsville, died at McKeesport after an illness of several months. He located in Edwardsville about 32 years ago and resided there until about 18 months ago when he left with his family to reside with his son Thomas, who is a physician at McKeesport. He was a brother of Druggist Armstrong, of 265 N. Main street, of this city and an uncle of John T. Armstrong, mine foreman for the Kingston Coal Co at Edwardsville, and George Armstrong, bookkeeper for DC Jones of this city.
