Loyal Schwanke, 48, of Rt. 3, Manitowoc, died Thursday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Newtonburg. The Rev. A.T. Degner will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Schwanke was born Nov. 28, 1926, at Valders, son of Otto Schwanke and the late Wilhelmine Bleck Shwanke. He had been employed at Manitowoc Engineering Co. for the past 16 years. He married Edna Raether Nov. 3, 1951, at Manitowoc.
