LaVonnia M. Dedo, 76, of Mars, and formerly of Saxonburg and New Hamburg, died March 13 at UPMC Passavant Hospital in the Town of McCandless. Born in Edinburg, Pa., on April 25, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Viola Ruffner Frankenburg. She was a homemaker. Surviving are a daughter, Audine Kenney of Gibsonia; a sister, Ruth Goldschmidt of Florida; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Dedo, who died in 1968. A memorial service was in the chapel of LAS/St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars on Tuesday, March 16. Private burial was in Millbank Cemetery in Freedonia. Memorials may be made to LAS/St. John Specialty Care Center, Mars, PA, 16046
