A native of Lincoln County, he was the son of the late Dan Adcox and Ruth Darnell Adcox who survives. Mr Adcox was a supervisor with Galtin Masonry Co of Fayetteville and a member of the Liberty Church of Christ.
Funeral services were conducted Monday morning at Higgins Funeral Home with the Rev. Tom Porter officiatig. Burial was in Riverview Memorial Gardens.
In addition to his mother Mr Adcox is survived by four sisters; Roberta Christmas and Judy Flynt both of Fayetteville; Patricia Hopper of Lewisburg and June Cunningham of Fayettevile, N C.; one brother Randy Adcox of Fayetteville. He was proceeded in death by one brother Charles Adcox.
