Donald Wayne "Donnie" Heath, age 62, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012. He was born in Washington County, Va., on July 22, 1949, to the late Barney and Mattie Taylor Heath. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Sam Heath. He is survived by one daughter, Angela Dixon; two grandchildren, Dakota Dixon and Taylor Dixon; his brothers, Barney C. and Janice Heath, Bill and Linda Heath, and Danny and Sissie Heath; his sisters, Sarah Patrick, Clattie Olinger, Ann and Paul Farris, Glenna Marion, Judy and Cecil Bradley, and Susie and Gary Peake; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012, from the Bradley's Funeral Chapel in Chilhowie with Bro. Barney Heath and Pastor Bob Neece officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral chapel or any time at the home of Judy and Cecil Bradley. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at the Rush Creek Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.bradleysfh.com.
