Mrs. Hattie Knapp was born Oct. 5, 1892 in Jefferson County, a daughter of Daniel and Rebecca Kelsey Polley. On June 14, 1919 she was married to Walter Knapp. After her marriage they moved to Leavenworth County. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and for many years she was clerk for the church. Besides her husband, she was survived by two daughters; one son; one brother, and six grandchildren.
