Carl W Lindemann, 62, former Manitowoc resident now of Denmark, died Thursday evening at St Mary Hospital, Green Bay. He had been ill for several years.

Funeral services will be at 2 pm Sunday at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Denmark, the Rev J H Thomson officiating. Burial will be in the West Danish Cemetery in the Town of Denmark.

Born June 19, 1889, in the Town of Liberty, Manitowoc County, Mr Lindemann worked for a number of years at the Manitowoc County Hospital before retiring three years ago and moving to Denmark. While in Manitowoc County he was a deputy sheriff for eight years. In May, 1954, he married the former Mrs Frances Pelishek of Denmark. He had been married previously.

Survivors include his wife, two sons, Glenn of Milwaukee and Roy of Denmark; two step-sons, Clarence Pelishek and Raymond Pelishek of Rt 3, Denmark; a step-daughter, Mrs Gladys Veshka of Rt 3, Denmark, and 13 grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Knutson Funeral Home, Denmark, after 2 pm Saturday to 11:30 am Sunday when the body will be moved to the church to lie in state to the time of service.
