Sedalia Democrat. Sunday, April 8th, 1956 :

Clarence E. Bodine, 71, 206 South Prospect, died at 9:15 p.m. Saturday at the Bothwell Hospital.
He was born April 15, 1885, in Walnut, Kan., son of the late Mark and Viola Bodine.
In 1906, he was married to Ella S. Peak at Walnut, Kan. She died March 8, 1946. Mr. Bodine remarried Nov. 15, 1946, to Agnes M. Peak.
Surviving are children by his first marriage: two daughters, Mrs. Tom Brudenell of Taft, Calif., and Mrs. Orbrey Cramer of Kansas City; six sons, F. O. Bodine of Ridgewood, N. J., C. E. Bodine, Jr., of Atwood, Ill., L. M. Bodine of Rosati, Mo., J. F. Bodine of Collinsville, Ill., F. E. Bodine of Edwardsville, Ill., and W. T. Bodine of 1406 South Park, Sedalia. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Fern.
The Holy Name Society and friends will recite the rosary at 8:15 p.m. Monday at the McLaughlin Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father A. J. Brunswick officiating.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
