BROTHER OF EDITOR HAM DIES AT ROCHELLE HOME
9 JULY 1936
C. W. Ham, for the past thirty years editor of the Rochelle New Era, died
at his home in Rochelle at 4 o'clock Thursday morning. He was the brother of Editor
J. R. Ham, of the Crisp County News, and was frequently in the News office in
Cordele.
Mr. Ham had been ill for ten days with pneumonia and complications.
Fifty=seven years of age, he had been a resident of this section of the state
nearly all his life.
Funeral service will be conducted from the Methodist Church of Rochelle at
4 o'clock Friday afternoon by the pastor. Interment will be in the Rochelle cemetery.
