Hannah Potts
Mrs. Hannah Potts, widow of James Potts, a civil war veteran, died at 1:54 o'clock Monday morning at the home her step-son, Sherman Potts, on Cosby street. She was born July 9, 1833, in Reeve township, dying in her eighty-first year. Senility caused death.
Funeral services will be held from the Potts home at 7:30 o'clock this evening. The funeral procession will leave early tomorrow morning for Reeve township where burial will be made in Oak Grove cemetery. (Washington Herald - Monday, Feb. 23, 1914)
