Zella Z. Maberry, 82, of Scottville, died 8:15 p.m. Thursday, May 10, 1973, at White Hall Hospital.

She was the daughter of William Carroll and Emily Catherine Harrison Maberry.

She married James Herbert Maberry on May 27, 1910 in Springfield, Illinois. They owned and operated the resturant in Scottville for many years.

She was member of the Scottville Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James H. who died in 1953 and infant daughter Faye and son Harold Lee.

She is survived by one son, Russell (Caroline Maberry, of Roodhouse; three daughters; Thesel (Walter) Woolfolk of Scottville, Verna (Ottis) Grubb of Murrayville and Bernadine (Herb) Moore of Springfield; 12 grandchildren, Gary (Terry)Maberry, Pat (Allen) Spencer, Dick Woolfolk, Melvin Woolfolk, Bill Woolfolk, Louise (Harold) Walkington, Frank (Sandy) Grubb, Sandy (Carroll) Chaudoin, Judy Grubb, Davie Moore, Ron (Brenda) Moore, Vicky Jean Moore; and 31 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Sunday, May 13, 1973 at 2 p.m at Scottville Christin Church with burial in Athensville Cemetery.
