Minnie May Hardy Neslen,age 43 passed away on Sunday March 13th,1966 at 7:20 PM in the LDS Hospital due to cancer.Minnie was born at home on September 9th,1922, the third child and oldest daughter to John James and Manila May Willden Hardy in Salt Lake City,Utah.Minnie was a loving wife,beloved Mother, devoted daughter and sister,loved Aunt,and a loyal friend to all she met.Minnie was a wonderful cook,enjoyed embrodering and loved flowers,especially roses and pansies.She graduated from South High School in the 1940's. Minnie worked various jobs;including Walgreens Drug Store as a Cook, Wonder Bakery where she met her future Husband Charles Neslen,Bonwood Bowling Alley,ZCMI and made airplane parts during World War Two at the Lockheed Airplane Plant in California and at the Air Base in Kearns,Utah.Minnie Married Charles Richard Neslen on March 19th,1948 in her Mother's home in Salt Lake City.They were Blessed with one daughter Patricia May Neslen.
Minnie was a Member of the LDS Church,Cannon 7th Ward. Minnie is survived by her husband Charlie,Mother Manila,daughter Pat and sibblings John W.(Jack)(Alta)Hardy,Ventura,California,Andrew E.(Ruth)Hardy,Bountiful,Utah,Velma(Don)West Palm Beach,Florida.Paul Lee.(Barbara)Hardy,Salt Lake City,Utah.She is also survived by Aunts,Uncles,cousins,Nieces,nephews,and friends.Preceeded in death by beloved father John James Hardy, and Grandparents George and Minnie Agnes Holt Willden.Funeral Services will be held at Deseret Mortuary located at 36 East 7th South in Salt Lake City,Utah on Wednesday March 16th,1966 at 12 Noon.Friends and Family are invited to attend a viewing on Tuesday evening March 15th from 6 to 8 PM in the same location, and one hour prior to Funeral Services.
Burial in the Salt Lake City Cemetery around 2PM.
