Robert L. "Bob" Yoho
Robert L. "Bob" Yoho, 92, of Metz, passed away Tuesday (April 8, 2008) at his residence.
He was born Nov. 28, 1915, at Pine Grove, Wetzel County, a son of the late Samuel Martin and Martha Elizabeth Thompson Yoho.
Bob was a graduate of Mannington High School, and attended West Virginia Wesleyan College.
He retired from Carnegie Natural Gas Co. with over 40 years of service.
He was a member of the First Century Church at Metz, and enjoyed square dancing, playing cards, and was an avid sports fan. He was also a member of the Mannington Lodge No. 31, AF&AM.;
He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Lora and Jack Rinehart, a son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Sharon Yoho, all of Mannington: seven grandchildren, Jodi Ann Snider, Mark Allen Yoho, Aaron Shearer Yoho, Richard Allen Glover, Roger Glover, Jason Rinehart, and Scott Rinehart; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his first wife, Roma Rowand Yoho; his second wife, Inga Rush Yoho; a daughter, Janice Kay Glover; a son, Robert M. Yoho; two sisters, Nina Anderson and Nellie Brummage; and three brothers, Howard Paul Yoho, Samuel Martin Yoho and Jack Harlan Yoho.
Friends may call at the Hutson Funeral Home, 500 E. Main St., Mannington, from 2-9 p.m. today where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday with Pastor Bill Coon officiating. Interment will be in the Metz Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be his grandsons.
