Anna Mae (Messersmith) Miller, of Dillsburg, passed away peacefully January 17, 2012. She was the beloved wife of Henry M. Miller, who passed away in 2008.

Anna was born in Jackson Township, on January 6, 1920, and was the daughter of the late Clarence Messersmith and Edna (Mummert) Messersmith.

Anna enjoyed homemaking and lovingly sacrificed her time to serve others. She was a longtime member of Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Evelyn M. King and husband, Jerry of Dillsburg, and Susan M. Lucabaugh and husband, Nathan of Hanover; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Philip, Dennis, and Marlin Messersmith.

She was predeceased by her infant brother, Paul; her brother, Ervin Messersmith; and her sisters, Margaret Miller and Salome Miller.

A funeral service in celebration of her life will be held January 21, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren, Spring Grove, with Elder George Churchfield and Elder Glenn Miller officiating. Following the service, she will be laid to rest next to her husband at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
