NALLY, Opal Marie, age 89 of Manchester, Tennessee, passed away on January 15, 2012 at the Horizon Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was a retired Nurse and homemaker. Mrs. Nally was born on January 20, 1922 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas to her parents, the late Samuel Harper Coker and Rosa Lee Gilliam Coker. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Nally who passed away in 2006 and her sisters, Lottie Craig, Hazel Craig and Tommie Agan. She was a generous, out-going person who loved people, and above all, she loved God. She was a dedicated member of the First Baptist Church in Manchester. Mrs. Nally is survived by nieces, Rosa Wells and her family of Manchester, TN; Lee Nichols of Hughs Springs, Texas; Craig Rubenstein of Austin, Texas; and Lynda Harris of Lubbock, Texas; and a host of friends and loved ones. Visitation was on Friday, January 20, 2012 from 1:00 until 3:00 P.M. at Central Funeral Home with the Funeral Service following at 3:00 P.M. with Dr. Brenton Cox officiating. Burial was at the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests Memorial Donations be made to the “Building People” Program at First Baptist Church-Manchester, TN, the Good Samaritan of Manchester Program or Hospice Compassus. Arrangements with CENTRAL FUNERAL HOME of Manchester, TN.
