Born April 21, 1945, in Baltimore, he was the son of the Russell and Pauline Falin Jarvis. He was the husband of the late Jacqueline Jarvis.
He left school in the eighth grade to support his family. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was in the plumbing industry all his life.
He enjoyed fishing, playing cards and hanging out at the TruValue Store in Hampstead.
Surviving are sons Chad and Eric Jarvis, both of Ellicott City; sisters Kay Teal, of Hampstead, Sharon Jarvis, of Westminster, Denise Pincher, of Orange, Texas, and Darlene Ayres, of White Hall; and four grandchildren.
