Johnny George Caughman of Sallisaw, Oklahoma was born Wednesday, March 16, 1932 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Johnny and Sylvia (Hinton) Caughman, and passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2012 in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 79.

Four sons: Bobby Caughman and wife Brenda of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, Jimmy Caughman of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, Mark Caughman of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, Glen Caughman and wife Melissa of Sallisaw, Oklahoma
Three sisters: Geneva Henry, Lahoma Dotson, Brenda McDaniel all of Sallisaw, Oklahoma
Four brothers: Wayne Caughman, Charles Caughman, Jack Caughman, Lyndell Caughman all of Sallisaw, Oklahoma

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers; Bob, James and Jody Caughman, one sister; Wanda Hartley, one grandson; Johnny Drian Caughman and one great great grandson; Deegan Scott Springwater. He was the Former Chief of Brushy Volunteer Fire Department. He loved to hunt, fish and drive around.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Friday, January 20, 2012, at Mallory-Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, with Reverend Curtis Bias officiating. Burial will follow in Brushy Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
Pallbearers will be: Bobby Caughman, Jimmy Caughman, Mark Caughman, Dion Caughman, Glen Caughman, Shorty Keith.
