Mrs. Mary Wright Stock, 88, of 19501 Darnestown Road, Beallsville, died Friday, May 7, at her home.
She was the wife of the late Edward L. Stock Jr. who was a well-known nurseryman in Montgomery County.
Born in Baltimore, she was a daughter of the late E. Nisbet and Florence Irvin Wright.
Mrs. Stock was a longtime resident of the Chevy Chase area.
Surviving are four children, Mollie H. Stock of Beallsville, E. Kendall Stock of Virginia, John B. Stock of Darnestown and Stephanie Adams Sowers of Virginia; a sister, Mrs. J.M. Garland of Virginia; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, May 10, at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 20100 Fisher Ave.,
Poolesville. Interment will be in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville. The family requests donations be
made to the Historic Medley District Inc., P.O. Box 232, Poolesville, Md. 20837.
