Bruce Allen Kennard
Bruce Allen Kennard, 37, of 100 Central Ave., a former Bay Area resident, died of pneumonia Thursday at a local hospital.
A memorial service will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale, Calif., at a later date. Schnider Funeral Home is handling cremation and arrangements.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, Robert and Diane Kennard of Hayward, Calif.; a sister, Victoria Kennard of Castro Valley, Calif.; a brother, Terry Kennard and his wife Lori of North Pole, Alaska; a stepsister, Eva Fullerton of Hayward; two nephews, Terrin and Logan Kennard; a special friend, Bill Pigman and his childhood friend, David Buffington and his wife Debbie.
Bruce was born May 9, 1966, in Burbank, Calif., the son of Robert and Shirley (Acord) Kennard. After graduating from John H. Francis Polytechnic High School, he moved to the Bay Area to live with his father and stepmother. He worked a variety of jobs in the Bay Area before moving to Great Falls on Sept. 13, 2001.
He enjoyed music, playing the guitar, collecting comic books, and particularly loved his dog, Daisy. Everyone who knew Bruce loved him.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
