A resident of Addis and a native of Brusly, she died at 4:15 p.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012. She was 87 and a registered nurse in pre-mature nursery and later in pediatrics at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. Visiting at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Brusly on Monday, Jan. 23, from 9 a.m. until Mass at noon, celebrated by the Rev. Matthew Dupre. Interment in the church cemetery. She is survived by three daughters, Carolyn D. Ballard and husband Alvin, Central, Judy D. Warren, Brusly, and Sue D. White and husband Jay, Addis; three sons, Edward J. Dupuy and wife Carolyn, Brusly, Dennis J. Dupuy, Addis, and Mark Dupuy and wife Gosia, Tampa, Fla.; 14 grandchildren, Amy, Andy, Whitney, Robin, Brad, Rebecca, Michelle, Brooke, Ashley, Brandon, Adam, Mandy, Erin and Jamie; and 16 great-grandchildren, Blaine, Aubrie, Kelsie, Camren, Joselyn, Braden, Bre'anna, Ethan, Aubrey, Olivia, Allie, Emma, Rhett, McKinley, Collin and Coby. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph F. "Buck" Dupuy; son, Steven C. Dupuy; parents, James and Evy LeJeune Allain; sister, Elaine Landry; and brothers, James J. Allain Jr. and Bert Allain. Beverly was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved her family. She enjoyed cooking, reading and crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed visiting with family and friends in her home and loved to travel. She was a devout Catholic. Pallbearers will be Adam Warren, Brandon Warren, Andy Dupuy, Bryan Balfantz, Steven Gueho and Bill Currie III.
