Helen Jean Bale Argyle, age 91, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, returned to her Heavenly Father and loved ones on Wednesday, January 18, 2012. She was born on June 17, 1920 in Payson, Utah to Clifford and Alice Rebecca Baxter Bale. She married Delos Erwin Argyle on May 20, 1941 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

She was educated in Payson. In her early life, she went to school to become a hair stylist. She also worked for a short time at the Globe Flour Mill in Ogden, Utah until the time of her marriage. Helen enjoyed her family. She loved cooking, doing handiwork and reading.

She is survived by two daughters and one son, all of Spanish Fork: Karen (L.D. deceased) Harrison, C. George (Calleen) Argyle and Renae (Wayne) Shepherd. Also surviving: eleven grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren. Another great-granddaughter is due in a couple of weeks and Helen's first great-great-granddaughter is due in May. She is preceded in death by her husband, Delos, ten siblings, a son in law, L.D. Harrison, and a granddaughter, Jaime Harrison Bundy.

Funeral services will be Friday, January 20, 2012 at the 1st and 12th Ward Chapel at 310 East Center, Spanish Fork. Viewing will be at the church Friday morning from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Funeral to follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
