She worked during the War as head of the Red Cross in the sewing garment department. She served on many boards, committees and belonged to St Johns Episcopal Church.

Children George Macy Wheeler, who graduated this year from Hotchkiss School Lakeville who will enter Yale in the Fall and Miss Helen Lucy Wheeler, a Senior at Vassar College.

Wife of Justice George Wheeler 115 Park Ave died in Seattle Washington as a result of Heart Failure and Pneumonia. The family had been traveling through the western states when she became ill upon reaching Washington.
