Last evening Miss Olive Mathues, daughter of Mrs. Lydia Patton, and Chester Williams, of Reading, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Williams, of West Hazleton, were married at the home of the bride's mother, on West Green Street. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Robert Bonner Jack, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church. They were unattended and only immediate relatives attended.
They left for Buffalo, NY and Niagara Falls, where they will spend their honeymoon. They will be at home after August 15th in Reading. The groom is employed there as an assistant manager of one of the Woolworth stores.
