Helen Lunde Braun, 72, of the 100 block of Kidd Blvd., died Jan. 28, 1996.
She was a retired guidance counselor for Bayside High School, Virginia Beach. She was a native of Sioux Fall, S.D. She was a member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church where she was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church Women.
She is survived by her husband, Robert H. Braun; son, Robert H. Braun Jr., and wife, Anne, of Hampton; two brothers, Gerald W. Lunde and James G. Lunde, both of Chesapeake; two grandsons, Tom Braun and Jason Braun, both of Norfolk.
A funeral service will be conducted at noon Wednesday by the Rev. Sidney Nelson in St. Timothy Lutheran Church, 1051 Kempsville Road, Norfolk. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may join the family at the residence today from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to St. Timothy Lutheran Church Building Fund, 1051 Kempsville Road, Norfolk, 23502. Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kemspville Chapel, Virginia Beach, is in charge of the arrangements.
