Betty Casey, 84, of Jackson, Tennessee, formerly of Magnolia, Arkansas passed away on Friday, January 13, 2012 in Jackson.

She was born on December 29, 1927 Combs, Arkansas to the late Wilburn Ulysses and Dola Mae (Perkins) Whitehead. She was a retired licensed practical nurse and a member of Central Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Virgil Casey, a son, Bill Casey, and a great granddaughter, Karsyn Sutton.

She is survived by her two daughters, Pam Sutton of Jackson, Tennessee, Sarah Hamous and husband Roy of Kingwood, Texas; six grandchildren, Drew Sutton and wife Staci of Keller, Texas, Tyler Sutton of Jackson, Jeremy Casey and wife Heather, Josh Casey and wife Lindsey all of Willisville, Arkansas, Jessica Hamous of Austin, Texas and Casey Hamous of Kingwood; and three great grandchildren, Kayla, Wyatt, and Reid Casey.

A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, January 15, 2012 at the Harmony Cemetery with Bro. Steve Ford officiating under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., of Magnolia.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Home Bound Ministry, Central Baptist Church, 207 West Union Street, Magnolia, Arkansas 71753.
