Mrs. Margaret J. ALBER, 87, a lifetime resident of the Fulton community, died at 4:30 a.m. today in Woodlawn hospital after an illness of two months. Born in Fulton county on Nov. 6, 1871, she was the daughter of James and Fannie WALTERS DILL. On April 19, 1892, she was married to Daniel O. ALBER, who died Oct. 28, 1935. Mrs. Alber was a member of the Olive Branch E.U.B. church and the Fulton O.E.S. number 376. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Waneta BOWMAN, Long Beach, Cal.; Mrs. Mary ALLEN, Burank, Ca.; Mrs. Winifred CHITWOOD, El Cerrito, Cal., and Nina ALBER, Santa Monica, Cal.; three sons, Calvin H. [ALBER], Walton, Terry F. [ALBER], South Bend, and Clifford [ALBER], Lucerne; twelve grandchildren; twenty-three [great]-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs Mary GARRITY, Los Angeles. A son, Garrett [ALBER], preceded her in death. Eastern Star services will be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Regular services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Fulton E.U.B. church with the Rev. George BASSARD officiating, assisted by the Rev. Donald ABBEY. Burial will be in the Fulton cemetery. Friends may call at the Ditmire funeral home in Fulton until 1 p.m. Sunday, when the body will be taken to the church.
