He was born August 2, 1931, in Belle Fourche, South Dakota, to Victor E. and Olive E. (Paasch) Wilson.
Mr. Wilson married Linda Moore in January of 1949.
He had been a resident of the area for 14 years.
He was C.N.A.; a miner for borax and gold; worked for Kaiser Aluminum in Denison, Texas; and was a school teacher in South Dakota for a number of years.
Mr. Wilson is survived by two sons, Victor P. (Eden) Wilson of Portland, Texas and Vern L. (Sandy) Wilson of Charlotte, North Carolina; a daughter, Paula J. (Rob) Towery of Homer; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Bessie Mungle, and his stepmother, Helen Wilson.
Burial followed at Hicks Cemetery in Pennfield Township.
