Funeral service for Harold Wilbur Steelman was December 21, 2011 at Wilson Mortuary Chapel, Salem, with Bro. Dwayne Cartwright officiating.
Music was provided by Darren Steelman, Annette Steelman, Becky Smith, Jeremy Steelman, Jane Steelman and Sherry Stallings.
Interment was in the Dry Fork Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Darren, Matt, Jeremy, Chad, Tyler and Christian Steelman. Honorary pallbearers were Jerry Steelman, Laquetta Nash, Benjamin and Seth Steelman.
Mr. Steelman was born June 10, 1921 in Hartshorn to George Aaron and Laura E. (Stewart) Steelman. He married Pearl Berniece Stephens June 13, 1942. They were the parents of two sons. Mr. Steelman died December 17, 2011 in Salem at the age of 90 years.
Survivors include his wife, Berniece Steelman, Salem; sons, Loyal Steelman and wife, Jane, Rolla; and Keith Steelman and wife, Annette, Salem; grandsons, Darren Steelman and wife, Jennifer, Sikeston; Matt Steelman and wife, Jenny, Port St. Lucie, Fla.; Jeremy Steelman and wife, Michelle, Salem; Chad Steelman and friend, Nikki Patrick, Clarksville, Tenn.; and Tyler Steelman, Rolla; and great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Seth, Abbie and Christian Steelman.
Preceding him in death were his parents; brother, David Steelman; half brothers, Reamey and Hobert Steelman; half sister, Thelma Beyer.
