Born in Butler on Dec. 3, 1966, she was the daughter of Richard Groves and Terri Lynn Tack Cammisa.
Tina was formerly a nurse's aide for a number of health care organizations, including nursing homes, personal care homes, a children's center, Lifesteps, Butler Memorial Hospital, the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and the Lowrie House. She also attended Butler County Community College to pursue her nursing degree.
She loved her children and enjoyed cooking for the holidays and for parties.
Tina is survived by her parents, Richard Groves and his wife, Nancy, and Terri Cammisa and her husband, John; her children, Joshua and Kaitlin Seybert, and their father, Robert Seybert; her daughter, Kourtney Groves and her father, Milton Wideman; two sisters, Tracy Bowers and Lisa Leasure; one stepbrother, Gary Cahall; two stepsisters, Wendy Briggs and Stephanie Sarvey; and three nieces, Amanda Gilliland, Jade Bowers and Cassidy Leasure.
GROVES - Friends and family of Tina Marie Groves, who passed away Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. James E. Swanson of the Covenant Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will take place in the Butler County Memorial Park.
Memorial donations can be made to the funeral home in her memory.
