Mr. Carl M. Kvale, age 78, died suddenly on Saturday, March 17, 1979 in a Columbus hospital. He was married to the former Sylvia Baerwolf in 1927. He was a retired automobile mechanic and was a charter member and mechanic for the Badger Antique Auto Club. Survivors include his wife Sylvia; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Frances) Rademacher of DeForest and Mrs. Walter (Helen) Iwert of Poynette; three sisters, Mrs. Karl (Tena) Franz of Chico, CA, Mrs. Wilbert (Julia) Feldhusen of Columbus, and Mrs. Harold (Sena) Klatt of Manitowoc; three brothers, Theodore and Melvin, both of Columbus and Leonard of Chico, CA; 9 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 20 at 2 p.m. in the Spring Prairie Lutheran Church in Keyeser. The Rev. O. Rolf Olson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Jones Funeral Home, Columbus on Monday from 4 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday after 12:30 at the church. WSJ 3/19/1979
