Robert M. Naugle, 64, passed away on January 14, 2012 after a brief illness. Bob was a native of Jacksonville, where he worked from the time he was a young man until his death, in the family business, Naugle Funeral Home, as a funeral director. He was a graduate of DuPont High School, class of 1965 and Miami-Dade College. He had a love for classic cars, motorcycles, fast boats, Elvis, Rock and Roll and his cherished memories of growing up during the good old days in Jacksonville where he could ride his horse all the way to the country or his scooter all over the neighborhood, but most of all he loved his family and friends. Bob was a long time member of the Jacksonville Rotary Club.

He is predeceased by his parents, Robert M. Naugle and Helen G. Naugle. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Elaine Logan Naugle, daughters Cheryl Naugle Wortelboer (Rob) and Christina Naugle Arellano (Martin), grandchildren, Austin and Aubrey Bowen and Robbie and Logan Wortelboer, his brother Paul C. Naugle and sister-in-law Patty B. Naugle, nephew Cameron Naugle and his wife Katherine and their daughter Abigail, niece, Paula Naugle, and his wife Elaines family, who became his own, numerous cousins and friends. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 22, 2012 at NAUGLE FUNERAL HOME, 1203 Hendricks Avenue from 2 PM until 5 PM. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to 26.2 with Donna, 2107 Mango Place, Jacksonville, FL 32207.
