POLAND - Henry J. "Buster" Boland Sr., 69, of 7531 Struthers Road, died of cancer in his home this morning.
Mr. Boland was born May 14, 1917, in Lowellville, a son of Henry and Pearl Englert Boland, living in the area all of his life. He working at the former Republic Steel Corp. in Warren for 16 years, retiring in 1980 as a turn foreman. Prior to that, he worked at Sharon Steel Co. for 25 years. He was a member of the Lowellville Methodist Church, the Lowellville Senior Citizens and the Republic Supervisors Club.
Besides his wife, the former Ruth Wild, whom he married in 1953, he leaves two sons, Jack Lee of Cuyahoga Falls and Henry Joseph Jr. of Struthers; a step-daughter, Mrs. Linda Powers of Lowellville; and five grandchildren. A sister, Mrs. Margaret Durbin, is deceased.
