Mrs. Brennan, the former Asumpta M. Sweeney, was born in Jersey City, N.J., and lived most of her life in Chester.
She was employed in the city assessor's office and was a member of the Women's Republican Club and FMC Colleges Parents Association.
She is survived by her husband, Edward A. Brennan; a son, Patrick J. of West Chester; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Reagan and Mrs. Catherine Lynam, both of Chester, and four brothers, Hugh E. Sweeney of Ridley Park, Joseph of Middletown, William of Prospect Park and Charles of Chester.
The funeral will be 10 a,m, Saturday at the John E. Carr Funeral Home, 21st St. and Providence Ave., Chester. High Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at St. Robert's Roman Catholic Church, Chester. Burial will be in Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery, Upper Chichester.
